Move-in Day
Please plan to be on hand to advise your STUBBS moving team regarding furniture/belongings placement.
Your pre-determined floor plan will help you at this point. Planning to have someone at your new home's entrance really helps the unload move along easily.
You will need to tell your lead driver which furniture pieces you will require to be assembled on this day. Use your SET-UP BOX to assist family members in adjusting to your new home.
If you cannot be at your home while the van is being unloaded, be sure to authorize a representative to accept delivery and pay the charges for you.
Signatures are required. STUBBS Long--Distance Planning will need to be informed, by email, of your representative and their contact information.
For safety reasons, as your moving team will be carrying heavy goods and may have limited peripheral and downward vision, children will need to be supervised and separate from all unloading areas.
Put your pets in a room where they will not be in the way of or injured during the unloading process.
Do not use your stereos, computers, televisions, other electronic devices and appliances for 24 hours after delivery (during extreme weather conditions) to prevent possible damage.
Allow them to adjust to room temperature.
